Ashley Jackson, the famous Yorkshire Artist painted "Above Holmfirth"  in 1974.  Ashley Jackson is one of the most widely recognised and popular artists in the country.   Known to millions of TV viewers through his highly popular series "A Brush with Ashley". His accessible approach to art and brooding landscapes of his beloved Yorkshire moors, have made him one of the most famous living artists in the late 20th century.
