Wood nymphs in Moonlight - 006

£790.00

Here is a magical meeting in a moonlit wood. The fantasy figures of two crowned nymphs, perhaps they are princesses, talk together of spells and mysteries.

This is a detailed and very evocative painting, which is executed in the medium of egg tempera, used in the Middle Ages long before the discovery of oil paint.

An original Egg tempera on wooden board. Unframed

Size 18 x 24 (Imp Ins) and 45 x 60 (metric cm)

Any viewing required could be arranged, by prior appointment
